For 23 years, Carlino’s Photography has specialized in creating custom portrait experiences that celebrate each client’s personality, achievements, and story. We focus on life-long relationships, creative photography, and heirloom-quality artwork designed to be enjoyed for generations. We love location work but also have a studio space in Richmond, Tx.

Where are you located and will you travel?

Studio is in Fort Bend County (Richmond/Sugar Land area) which is about 25  miles southwest of downtown Houston and 100% on the travel. LOVE to travel!

When should I schedule my senior portrait session?

We recommend scheduling your senior session several months in advance, especially for spring and fall dates. Booking early ensures the best selection of dates and allows plenty of time for yearbook deadlines, graduation announcements, and artwork orders.

Where do sessions take place?

We offer sessions both in studio and on location. Popular locations include urban environments, parks, sports fields, and locations that have personal meaning. During your consultation, we’ll help choose the perfect setting for your vision.

What should I wear for my session?

After booking, you’ll receive guidance on clothing colors & styles. We have a Pinterest guide that pulls together color palettes & trending styles!

How long does a session last?

Session lengths vary depending on the type of session and package selected. Most senior portrait sessions last between 1 and 3 hours, allowing time for multiple outfits, locations, and creative concepts.

What if I am nervous?

Completely normal! My job is to relax you. I'll coach you through poses that feel more like natural movements.

Can I include sports equipment, instruments, vehicles, or pets?

Absolutely. We encourage clients to bring items that reflect their interests, accomplishments, and personality. Sports equipment, musical instruments, classic cars, trucks, and family pets often make sessions even more meaningful.

What happens after my session?

Following your session, you’ll be invited to a personalized ordering appointment (either in person or virtually) where you’ll view your images and cash in on your products.

How do you handle editing?

We believe in realistic edits; no plastic people! Some of the light edits that are included with your collection are acne, shine, bruise, and fly away hair removal. If you prefer all natural, we would be happy to leave the images as taken/out of camera.

Do you offer digital files?

Yes. Digital image options are available with qualifying collections and products. We believe your portraits deserve to be displayed and enjoyed, so we also offer a wide range of professional-quality printed artwork.

How much should I expect to invest?

We offer a variety of session and product options to fit different goals and budgets. Check out the Investments page of our website for the Class of 2027 Collections. Deposit is 50% of the total collection fee and is non refundable but IS transferable to another date if something happens.

Do parents attend the senior session?

Yes. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Friends and pets are too! My assistant and I will meet y'all at the location.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

If weather conditions affect an outdoor session, we’ll work with you to reschedule or adjust plans as needed. There is no fee to rebook due to weather or family emergency.

I'm an athlete. Can you photograph my team?

You bet! And if you open a door for us to book, we will comp your package order! Carlino’s Photography/Lit Media works with schools, leagues, and organizations to provide professional team and individual sports photography.
