Carlino's Photography will celebrate 15 years in July. It's such a milestone in this day and age and I am very proud of where the business has come. I've opened and closed it once across state lines when we moved here 14 years ago. I ran it out of our home for the first 6 years. It was at that point that we bought the Richmond studio land, built the building, and hired employees. I educate around the world now and at the start of the new school year, I genuinely miss the smell of a fresh box of Crayolas. I couldn't do what I do without the support of my husband, my fantastic studio staff, my industry mentors & vendors, and a ton of prayer.
I don't know where you were in 2003, but this photo was taken of John and I just a few months before I officially opened the business in Louisiana. We had a 2 yr old, I was finishing my Master's Degree in Educational Technology, and we had no idea that the following year we'd be transferred to the Houston area. All in God's timing of course! I've always believed that if you want to see God laugh, make plans.
We've been married almost 22 years and our oldest son will be a graduating senior in the Class of 2019. Our youngest will start high school in the fall.
God has been and will always be good. Thank you for blessing us with the chance to create memories for you!
